October, 2021 | The Premia Academy Newsletter
Red Book, Blue Book, Old Book, New Book...We Love
Them All
From the Principal's Desk
Academy! At this outset, I extend my gratitude to each of you for believing in us. We are
very excited to launch this newsletter which will keep you informed and inspired. The
editorial team, of students and teachers, has worked diligently to bring out the first
issue of
The Premia Pulse. It is said, the best in a person is brought out in the toughest
of times. Online schooling did not deter us, in fact we transcended boundaries. Academic
activities and indulgence beyond books will be revealed as you flip the pages. This
newsletter is a humble attempt to cherish the magic of learning. I congratulate and
thank the team for their luminescent effort.

The Editorial Column
From the Editor's Desk
Each new beginning is a step towards new possibilities and the maiden editorial team has
ensured it is a great one! From brainstorming to collating information, writing, erasing,
and rewriting to the final publishing including the deliberation on naming the newsletter
has helped us evolve. The times we differed in our views, the ‘agree to disagree' moments
taught us conflict resolution and respect. As we look at the final outcome, there is a smile
that says it all.
This newsletter is an overview of the big and small accomplishments, triumphs, and
celebrations and most importantly, knowing, mistakes are proof that we are trying- A novel
way to review and reflect. It is a testimony of how teachers and students have embraced
technology to ascertain learning continues.
It's our promise, you will literally feel THE PREMIA PULSE as you make your way through our
first issue and we shall keep you updated with the latest in the coming months too!

Term I- In A Nutshell
Investiture Ceremony
One of the major events was the democratic election of the student body of
governance. Student Council led by the School Pupil Leader- Zainab Salim and Asst.
School Pupil Leader- Maryam Ali Baig, is an integral part of the school
organizational dimension and a platform for students to voice their thoughts.
Along with the houses, students are also a part of the four ministries- Cultural,

Independence Day
The School campus looked vibrant in the hues of the flag while we students echoed the
rhythm keeping the spirit of patriotism alive on the virtual mode.
Students of grade 3 took us on an ecstatic journey showcasing 74 glorious years of
Incredible India. Mission Paani-A short film conceived and directed by students of
grade 5, on judicious use of water, inspired us to take a pledge towards conserving
water. This Independence Day celebration was definitely a gratifying one!
Teachers' Day
Some noteworthy dance performances and songs along with interesting games and a fun
quiz had a mesmerizing appeal to our mentors.
While we showered our love and gratitude through handmade cards, our founders
honoured teachers with tokens of appreciation in recognition of their hard work and
resilient attitude. The online celebration was a novice experience that taught us to
be agile under any circumstances. It was indeed a memorable one
Internal Competitions
XPERIA - First of many to come
Literary & Cultural Fiesta gave us the opportunity to resonate with what we knew,
reverberate with our peers, and rejuvenate.
Experts and Judges from across the country admired the astounding display of talent
at The Premia Academy. A week-long festival was a refresher for all of us.
From Mandala Art to Mask Making, Performance Poetry to Soliloquy, Just a Minute to
Debate, it was FUN all the way!
